At the Pet Hospital of New Bern, we handle all of our anesthetic patients with the most rigorous anesthetic monitor and patient care. All patients anesthetized have IV catheters placed and given intravenous fluid therapy. We perform full anesthetic monitoring, which includes continual ECG, heart rate, respiratory rate, end-tidal CO2, blood oxygenation, blood pressure and body temperature monitoring during any procedure by a trained veterinary technician / assistant and the doctor.
